Girona is a city located in the northeast of Catalonia, at the confluence of the rivers Ter and Onyar. It is the capital of the Spanish province of the same name .

The Arab Baths in Girona "Baños" date back to 1194. In the 15th century, they came into private ownership until 1617 when they became part of the Order of Capuchin nuns' convent, which they used as a laundry room.
